Coutil is a woven herringbone textile that has been designed specifically for building corsets. The high cotton content and tightly woven structure inhibit penetration of the stays and is not inclined to stretch. It has a smooth finish and allows the skin to breathe.
This fabric comes in plain cotton, satin or brocade.
Primarily colours stocked are black, white and flesh(peach).
